Lab-Made Crowns  

Lab-made crowns are created outside the dental office. They can be made from porcelain-fused-to-metal, base metal alloys, or gold alloys. While same day crowns can restore your smile on the same day, traditional lab made crowns require at least two separate appointments.  

The first appointment is acquiring an impression of your mouth. The impression is sent to the lab and used as a guide when designing your crown. It may take 2 to 3 weeks before your final crowns are made.
